MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE VETERINARY FIELD!
•Welcome to Kettering Animal Hospital. We are a four-doctor small animal practice with a huge heart for our patients and staff. We are one big family. We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team, to help support our veterinarians in providing excellent care to our patients. You must have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and reliable technical skills.
These skills include:
Assist in holding and restraining animals during exams. Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and tools. Administer and fill medications. Assist in collecting samples such as urine for testing. Ensure all exam rooms and operating areas are clean/stocked. Communicate with owners and families about the care provided for their animal.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE VETERINARY ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE.
2+ years of experience in animal care. Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Basic understanding of animal behavior and health care. Able to work weekends (Saturdays).
