Part-Time Kennel Attendant / Veterinary Assistant Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley

• Mill Hall, PA We're looking for a friendly, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Kennel Attendant/Veterinary Assistant !

The focus of this position is to support our kennel and clinic — including walking, feeding, medicating, and cleaning — while also assisting our veterinarians and technicians during clinic hours during appointments.

Clinic Hours:

Monday-Friday:

7:00 AM

• 7:00

PM Saturday:

7:00 AM

• 12:00 PM Flexible scheduling available
• some weekends and e vening availability is required. We are looking to fill both evening and daytime hours ( may consider 2 candidates). We love partnering with students interested in veterinary medicine
• however, we are looking for a part-time candidate who can commit to a year-round schedule.

Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Previous , shelter, or veterinary setting) Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques Strong communication and teamwork skills Engages with patients, clients and fellow staff in a clear, respectful manner as a representative of AMC Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions Proficient in basic mental math, handwriting and typing skills Proficient oral communication skills and ability to multitask in a lively environment Physical ability to safely perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or carrying up to 50 lbs
