This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people as much as pets and takes pride in clear, compassionate communication. This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in veterinary medicine. No formal veterinary experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Front Desk Greet pet owners warmly and professionally in person and by phone Schedule appointments and manage client check-in/check-out Answer questions, relay information accurately, and direct concerns to the medical team Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, especially in stressful or emotional situations Help educate clients on basic care instructions as directed by the veterinary team Animal Care & Clinic Support Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments Gently restrain dogs and cats to ensure safety and comfort Prepare and clean exam rooms and treatment areas Clean kennels, cages, and clinic equipment Observe animal behavior and communicate concerns promptly to the medical team Stock supplies and help keep the clinic organized Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to listen actively, follow instructions, and relay information accurately Calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment Genuine love for animals, especially dogs and cats Willingness to learn and take direction Positive attitude and strong work ethic Prior experience in customer service, reception, or animal care is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs Comfortable handling animals of different sizes and temperaments What We Offer On-the-job training and mentorship Supportive, team-oriented workplace that values communication Opportunity to grow in the veterinary field Employee discounts on veterinary services (if applicable) Competitive pay based on experience How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief note explaining your interest in working with animals and your communication or customer service experience to:
