We are seeking a responsible, committed, and animal-loving Veterinary Nurse Technician to join our team. We are a veterinary clinic specializing exclusively in small animals (dogs and cats), focused on providing the highest quality of care. The primary objective of this position is to provide continuous support to our veterinarians and ensure the well-being of our patients during the night shift. Don't need ER experience. Key Responsibilities:

Client Service and Management:

Cordially greet pets and their owners upon arrival. Schedule appointments and medical procedures, and efficiently manage emergency intakes. Oversee the entire client workflow from check-in to discharge, ensuring home-care instructions are thoroughly explained to owners. Handle follow-up callbacks and educate clients on essential preventative healthcare for their pets.

Medical Assistance:

Assist veterinarians with the safe restraint of dogs and cats, collection of laboratory samples, IV catheter placement, and fluid therapy initiation.

Hospital Monitoring:

Constantly monitor hospitalized small animals, administer prescribed medications, and promptly report any changes in vital signs.

Hygiene and Maintenance:

Maintain examination rooms, the surgical suite, and hospitalization areas completely clean, sanitized, and ready for patient care.

Surgical Support:

Prepare patients for surgical procedures and assist with basic post-operative monitoring.

Work Schedule:

Set Shift:

Monday through Sunday, from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Midnight).

Note:

A formal employment contract and long-term job stability are provided.

Desired Qualifications:

Completed or in-progress technical degree in Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Technology, or a related field. Prior experience in a small animal clinic is a plus but not required; we are open to training the right person with a great attitude. Ability to handle and restrain dogs and cats safely and compassionately. Absolute punctuality is required, along with the ability to maintain composure during medical emergencies.

Benefits & Compensation:

Competitive pay ranging from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour (final pay will be determined and adjusted based on experience demonstrated during the interview). Formal employment contract starting on day one. Employee discount on clinic services and products for your own pets.
