In this dual-role position, you'll be a vital part of both our medical support team and our reception staff. Whether you're assisting in the treatment area or greeting clients at the front desk, your work will help ensure our patients receive the highest quality care and our clients feel informed, supported, and welcome. This position is not limited to reception duties . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as part of the entire veterinary team and assisting wherever needed. Responsibilities may include answering phones, checking clients and patients in and out, patient restraint and handling, cleaning and maintaining hospital areas, assisting the DVMs, and providing minor patient care and support . Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. The ability to balance excellent customer service with hands-on patient support in a fast-paced, team-focused environment is essential.
Schedule and compensation:
Compensation:
$26 - $28 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full -time position, with a Flexible schedule and availability needed Monday-Sunday with weekend coverage needed . Full-time Benefits Package
•: Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and disability Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401k with company match Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Personal pet discount Uniform Allowance Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law M inimum qualifications and skill set: 2+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-related front-desk experience preferred Proficiency in the following skills: Ability to manage a multi-phone line system while assisting in-person clients Ability to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred Ability to accurately process payments and maintain financial records Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a team Safe animal handling and restraint skills for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments Ability to assist with exams, treatments, and outpatient procedures About us: We're a community-focused veterinary clinic providing high-quality care for pets at every stage—from routine wellness and vaccines to urgent and emergency visits.
