Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis. Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures and provide post-operative care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry, health care, and nutrition. Manage kennel operations, including cleaning Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with team members and clients. Qualifications Strong skills in animal handling, restraint, and catheterization techniques. Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is essential.
