We are looking for a friendly, hardworking, and positive Veterinary Technician for part-time work who has a minimum of 3 years of experience, Registered Veterinary Technician is a plus but not required. Pay is based on experience. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Previous experience is required. You will be expected to complete and excel in the following duties:

• Effective communication with clients
• Input Medical Records
• Run in-house labs
• Phlebotomy & IV Catheterization
• Cystocentesis
• Radiographs
• Bandaging
• Assisting DVM in exams & treatments
• Assisting in surgery & monitoring anesthesia
• Perform dental prophylaxis
• Monitoring and recovering patients after surgery
• Maintaining and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
• Cleaning and disinfecting cages, kennels, and exam rooms
• Helping to provide emergency first aid to sick or injured animals
• Administering medications and/or immunizations
• Performing laboratory tests
• Feeding patients and monitoring food and water intake
• Sample collection (i.e. blood, urine, etc)
• Training and oversight of veterinary assistants
