Job Description

Napa West, River, and Lincoln Pet Hospitals are seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician or RVT to join our team! We are three very busy, locally owned, full service small animal hospitals in Napa Valley who also offer Urgent Care and Emergency services. Our hospitals and staff work efficiently together to provide the highest quality patient care, treating each patient as it were our own. We pride ourselves in providing excellent patient care and customer service, creating an individualized treatment plan for patient care. Our staff is made up of highly skilled individuals and we have a very happy and appreciated work environment. We offer a VERY generous RVT Tuition program for experienced and motivated full time nurses with a work back agreement!! We have all brand new, state-of-the-art equipment including: Two fully equipped surgical suite where we are able to perform a variety of surgical procedures from routine to orthopedic Ultrasound Digital Radiology Dental Radiology Platinum K Laser Endoscope Therapeutic Under Water Treadmill Idexx in-house laboratory equipment including a Urine Sediment Analyzer and in house Coag readers.
Our ideal candidate would have:
Excellent communication skills The ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced environment The ability to lift up to 50lbs Have open scheduling availability Dependability Team Player, works well with others Our ideal candidate would also posses competency to perform: Giving injections (IV, IM, SQ) IV catheter placement Running lab work Taking X-rays Anesthesia induction and monitoring Surgical preparation and assisting Dental prophylaxis including dental extractions and dental radiology Drawing blood and urine Please submit a Cover Letter and Resume to be considered! •Weekends Required •
