We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing top-quality animal welfare and animal control services for our client cities. What you will be doing:
Preparing dogs, cats and the occasional bunny for spay and neuter surgeries at the Clinic Directly and positively assisting in the reduction of pet overpopulation in our client cities Intaking, examining and caring for animals that are brought to the Shelter What you'll need: Must have a current California State Registered Veterinary Technician License 6 months of experience as an RVT Confident, calm leadership skills to supervise a small veterinary examination team Certification in or ability to obtain a Certificate for Humane Euthanasia within 90 days of hire Ability to conduct humane euthanasia as required The diagnostic skills and animal health assessment knowledge to examine incoming animal patients at the Shelter Interest or experience in the unique world of Shelter Medicine is a definite plus! A strong drive and desire to help animals who truly need you!
