In this energetic and fast-paced environment, you will assist veterinarians with medical procedures, provide compassionate pet care, and ensure the smooth operation of our veterinary services. Your expertise will help improve the health and well-being of animals while fostering positive experiences for pet owners. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures, including radiology diagnostics and critical & intensive care. Perform animal restraint, animal handling, and pet grooming to ensure safety and comfort for pets and staff. Conduct laboratory work such as phlebotomy, veterinary laboratory testing, and diagnostic sample collection with precision. Operate medical equipment including X-ray machines, anesthesia monitors, and other veterinary surgical tools. Administer medications, manage general anesthesia, monitor veterinary anesthesia during procedures, and assist with animal catheterization and IV insertion. Support emergency medicine cases by providing critical care, vascular access, and maintaining aseptic techniques. Maintain detailed records using veterinary software, document radiology images, and assist with veterinary procedure assistance to ensure high-quality patient care. Requirements Proven kennel experience with animals of various sizes and temperaments. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, anatomy, and animal husbandry practices. Hands-on experience with dental terminology, pet care routines, dog handling, and animal restraint techniques. Experience in veterinary critical care, emergency medicine, anesthesia monitoring, and laboratory procedures. Ability to operate diagnostic radiology equipment such as X-ray machines confidently. Skilled in venipuncture (IV insertion), animal catheterization, medication administration, and aseptic techniques.
