Do you enjoy the challenge of anesthesia, capturing high-quality dental radiographs, and providing exceptional patient care from admission through recovery? We're looking for a skilled, dependable, and team-oriented Part-Time Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado . About the Role This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working with both surgical and dental cases and takes pride in delivering safe, thoughtful, high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with our veterinarians and support team to provide hands-on care throughout the patient experience, including soft tissue surgery, dentistry, anesthesia, recovery, and client communication. You'll be a great fit if you: Feel confident monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures Have hands-on dental experience, including full-mouth dental radiographs Put patient safety and quality medicine first Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team Stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment Enjoy continuing to build and utilize your technical skills Key Responsibilities Induce, intubate, and continuously monitor patients under anesthesia Prepare patients for procedures and maintain proper sterile technique Perform dental charting and obtain full-mouth dental radiographs Place IV catheters and collect laboratory samples Monitor patients through recovery and assist with pain management Provide client communication and education when appropriate Maintain complete, accurate, and thorough medical records Assist veterinarians with surgical, dental, and other patient-care needs What We're Looking For 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred Strong knowledge and experience with anesthesia monitoring required Experience with dental radiography preferred Excellent attention to detail and strong critical-thinking skills Dependable, positive, and collaborative approach CVT/RVT credentials preferred, but not required for the right candidate What We Offer A positive, supportive, and collaborative team environment A practice dedicated to high standards of patient care and medicine Opportunities to strengthen and expand your advanced technical skills Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee pet care discounts Continuing education opportunities Ready to Join Our Team?
