Veterinary Medical Center of Indian River County is a full service day practice and 24/7 emergency hospital in Vero Beach, Florida. In addition to our veterinary practices, we offer doggie daycare, feline & canine boarding, grooming and dog training. We are seeking experienced veterinary technicians for our emergency practice who are looking to:

• Promote the human-animal bond
• Serve clients, patients, and co-workers with empathy and sincerity
• Work in a fast paced environment and be challenged to grow in skills and knowledge
• Work as a close knit team with doctors and fellow technicians Candidates must:
• Have a positive attitude and a superior work ethic
• Possess great customer service skills and enjoy educating clients on at home care
• Have the ability to draw blood, place IV catheters, intubate, administer

IV/SQ/IM

injections (these skills are a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate)

• Be able to stand, sit, stoop or bend for extended periods
• Be able to handle fractious animals both large and small with gentle restraint
