Summary We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team at Southeast Animal Eye Specialist. In this role, you will assist veterinarians in providing high-quality eye care for animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position is vital to our mission of delivering specialized veterinary services. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work as needed. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Provide proper restraint and handling of animals during procedures. Educate pet owners on post-operative care and general pet health. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment. Requirements Senior/ Supervising College Degree (4yr) and Certification perferably. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary practices. Experience in animal handling and restraint techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
