Job Title:

Surgical Technician Duties:

• Dental Department Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
• Assist surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and nurses
• Maintain a sterile field during surgery to minimize the risk of infection
• Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are properly cleaned, sterilized, and organized
• Assist with patient positioning and transportation before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly and efficiently
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
