Catonsville Cat Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a small, feline-only veterinary practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a comfortable and low-stress environment for our feline patients. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician who is confident working independently, enjoys working with cats, and is looking to become part of a close-knit team. Position Veterinary Technician Full-Time The Ideal Candidate Our ideal candidate will have: At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience The ability to work independently and confidently Strong communication and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail A compassionate and patient approach to handling cats The ability to work effectively as part of a small team A willingness to learn and contribute to a positive workplace A genuine interest in feline medicine and feline-friendly handling Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Assisting veterinarians with examinations and procedures Patient intake and assessment Obtaining and recording patient histories and vital signs Venipuncture and catheter placement Collecting and processing laboratory samples Administering medications and treatments Radiology and other diagnostic procedures Anesthesia monitoring Surgical preparation and patient recovery Safe, low-stress feline restraint and handling Maintaining accurate medical records Cleaning and maintaining treatment areas and equipment Client communication and education Providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients What We Offer Paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) Uniform allowance 401(k) Quarterly bonus If you are an experienced Veterinary Technician who is comfortable working independently and passionate about providing excellent feline care, please submit your resume and tell us a little about yourself!
