• Duties
• Assist veterinarians in examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Perform laboratory tests such as blood work and urinalysis
• Administer medications under veterinarian supervision
• Handle and restrain animals during procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the surgical suite and treatment areas
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
• Skills
• Proficient in veterinary terminology and aseptic techniques
• Experience in animal handling
• Knowledge of animal physiology and dental terminology
• Ability to perform laboratory procedures accurately
• Strong pet care skills with a focus on patient comfort
