Benefits include an excellent pet medical discount, CE stipend, paid time off, and uniform credit. Our technicians are highly utilized and appreciated! We are a three doctor practice with a moderate pace and we value our close, family-oriented atmosphere. Wage dependent on experience; new grads welcome!

Responsibilities/expectations of LVT:

Ability to properly and safely restrain cats and dogs of various sizes IV Catheter placement Blood draws/medication administration Pharmaceutical knowledge Digital dental radiograph knowledge Excellent client education and communication Ability to work independently and efficiently Ability to calculate drug doses and induce anesthesia Collect urine, blood, and other samples for in house and external labs Properly prepare lab samples for external laboratories Prepare medications and patients for discharge Counsels clients regarding behavioral problems, obesity, geriatric care, nutritional and dietary problems, flea and tick control, and recommends laboratory work (such as pre-anesthetic profiles, heartworm tests, feline leukemia tests, geriatric physicals, etc.) that are necessary for optimum patient care Assists the receptionists when needed by answering phones and scheduling appointments

Pay:

$18.00 - $26.00 per hour
