As a Veterinary Technician, you will work closely with our veterinarians and team throughout the day, supporting examinations, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, anesthesia, client education, and patient advocacy. We welcome candidates who possess:

Experience as a veterinary assistant or technician preferred but not required - We will train the right person! Current veterinary technician licensure in the state of MI preferred but not required Friendly and/or Fear Free handling techniques and/or certification Ability to perform dental prophylaxis, anesthesia monitoring, and pain management with precision Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and digital radiography Working knowledge of DEA and OSHA regulations, and ability to maintain accurate protocols Proficiency with Cornerstone PIMS and Microsoft Suite for maintaining electronic medical records Ability to provide compassionate, kind, and professional client service and education Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail in all aspects of patient care Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted (e.g., food bags, records, equipment) Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, with occasional bending, stooping, and reaching Comfort working in a clinical environment with exposure to noise, odors, animal waste, potential bites or scratches, and infectious diseases "This is by far the most caring and loving veterinarian office that I have ever had the pleasure of taking my cat!"
