Job Description
At the Animal Health Center, you'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through high-quality medicine and Fear Free handling. Our LVTs are trusted to use their skills, take an active role in patient care, and continue growing professionally. The majority of our patients are dogs and cats, with opportunities to work with a variety of other species for technicians interested in broadening their experience. Who We're Looking For Licensed Veterinary Technician (or Currently Pursuing MN Licensure) A positive team player who enjoys collaborating with others Someone who can prioritize, adapt, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator who helps clients feel comfortable and supported Comfortable working with dogs and cats and interested in learning to care for a variety of species Someone committed to providing compassionate care to patients, clients, and our community Experience with rabbits, poultry, goats, or other non-traditional companion animal species is a bonus, but not required What You'll Do Assist with exams, diagnostics, and treatments Prepare patients for surgery and monitor anesthesia Run in-house laboratory tests and process samples Take radiographs and support diagnostic imaging Educate and communicate with clients, helping them feel informed and cared for Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Safely and compassionately handle a variety of patients Work closely with veterinarians as an essential member of the medical team We're looking for someone who is excited to make a difference, eager to grow, and ready to join a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
