This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinary technician who enjoys building relationships with clients and patients, practicing high-quality medicine, and working as part of a collaborative veterinary team. General Practice veterinary medicine with a wide variety of cases Opportunity to work with dogs, cats, and exotic animals Modern hospital with advanced diagnostic capabilities Collaborative team of veterinarians, credentialed technicians, veterinary assistants, and support staff Opportunities to develop and expand your veterinary technician skills Strong focus on compassionate patient care and client education Commitment to continuing education and professional growth Supportive work environment that values work-life balance What You Will Do Provide high-quality nursing care to veterinary patients throughout their visit Assist veterinarians with physical examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures Obtain patient histories and assist with client communication and education Perform blood draws, place and maintain IV catheters, and collect laboratory samples Run and interpret in-house laboratory diagnostics Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian Monitor patient comfort, health, and recovery throughout treatment Assist with dental procedures and routine preventive care Take and develop diagnostic radiographs Assist with patient restraint and handling using low-stress and Fear Free techniques Educate clients regarding medications, treatments, nutrition, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area Work collaboratively with veterinarians and the veterinary support team Provide compassionate care to patients and their families What We Are Looking For Licensed Veterinary Technician LVT CVT, LVT, or RVT credentialed veterinary technician Previous veterinary technician experience preferred Strong patient care and technical skills Excellent communication and client service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced veterinary hospital Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks Compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team Interest in general practice veterinary medicine Exotic animal experience is a plus Schedule Full time preferred, 30-40hrs/week Daytime and evening shifts Evening availability is a plus and is our primary scheduling need Specific schedule and hours can be discussed during the interview process Compensation, Benefits & Perks Pay range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials Full-time benefits including medical, dental and vision plans Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education, professional development, and license reimbursement 401(k) with employer matching Employee discounts and pet care perks Double pay for working holidays Uniform allowance, referral bonuses, relocation assistance, and more Ready to Join Our Team?
