What We're Looking For:

RVT Certification VTS Certification is a plus (salary to commensurate experience)

Experience:

5+ years in the veterinary medicine

Knowledge:

Vaccine protocols, heartworm and flea prevention, animal handling/husbandry, venipuncture, lab tests, IV placement, and surgical monitoring. If you know your way around Cornerstone, that's a bonus!

Responsibilities Provide high-quality veterinary care by assisting in examinations and treatments under the supervision of a veterinarian. Perform blood sampling, animal catheterization, and administer medications as needed. Handle and restrain animals safely, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with laboratory tasks. Offer excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding care instructions and treatment plans. Uphold cleanliness and organization in the clinic, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
