Job Description

Role Overview:
The Registered Veterinary Technician is a vital member of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care such as administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab procedures. They serve as leaders and mentors, supporting team workflow and fostering professional growth. The technician partners with clients by educating pet owners, reviewing medical records, and addressing questions, while actively contributing to a positive hospital culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program Current state veterinary technician license in good standing Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures Calm, efficient, and able to handle fast-paced situations Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
Preferred:
One year of veterinary industry experience
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize full skillset to provide patient care Mentor and support team members Partner with clients through education and communication Maintain high standards and contribute to a positive hospital environment
