Responsibilities:

Assist in medical and surgical procedures Perform diagnostic tests, including blood draws, urinalysis, and radiographs Monitor anesthesia during surgeries and assist in post-operative care Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by the veterinarian Maintain accurate patient records and update them as needed Provide client education on pet care and treatment plans Prepare animals for exams and assist during physical exams Support veterinarians in managing emergency cases Maintain a clean and organized work area and clinic Assist with inventory management and stock medical supplies

Requirements:

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), or equivalent credentials required Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred Knowledge of animal behavior, medical terminology, and emergency procedures Ability to handle animals safely and effectively Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment Flexible schedule; ability to work weekends or evenings may be required How to
