Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Large Animal Technician to join our veterinary team. The successful candidate will provide hands-on care and technical support for large animal patients, assist veterinarians with examinations and procedures, monitor patients, maintain treatment areas and equipment, and support routine animal husbandry and patient care. Candidates should have experience safely handling large animals and a strong commitment to animal welfare, patient safety, teamwork, and client service. Veterinary technician education or certification and experience in an equine, livestock, or large-animal veterinary setting are preferred. We will train the right candidate! Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with large animals in a veterinary, livestock, equine, agricultural, or animal-care setting. Demonstrated ability to safely handle large animals. Ability to follow veterinary instructions and established safety procedures. Basic understanding of animal behavior, husbandry, and welfare. Ability to accurately document treatments and patient observations. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a veterinary team.
