This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys specialty medicine, stays organized in a busy environment, and takes pride in providing thoughtful, compassionate patient care. Our Cardiology service sees appointments Monday through Thursday, with typical hours of Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, plus rotating holiday ER coverage. What Your Day Looks Like You'll help keep our cardiology service moving—from preparing patients for echocardiograms and diagnostics to obtaining radiographs, and assisting with advanced cardiac diagnostics. You'll also communicate with clients, manage prescriptions and follow-up care, coordinate with referring veterinarians, and help keep the schedule running smoothly. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, curious, organized, and proactive—someone who sees what needs to be done and jumps in to help.
Candidates should have:
Current Virginia LVT license in good standing Strong nursing and technical skills Excellent communication and organization Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and disease Strong attention to detail and critical-thinking skills The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team A willingness to learn and grow in specialty medicine Previous cardiology experience is preferred, but we're open to a strong LVT who is eager to learn.
