Job Description

Kindness Animal Hospital is a privately owned veterinary practice with a long-standing reputation for exceptional care throughout Chippewa Falls, Lake Hallie, and Eau Claire since 1970. We provide comprehensive veterinary care for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, reptiles, and birds. From routine wellness visits to urgent and emergency care, we strive to create a welcoming, family-like environment where kindness is at the heart of everything we do . Join Our Team We are currently seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our collaborative team of three doctors and experienced support staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who wants to utilize their skills, continue learning, and grow professionally within a progressive, privately owned practice. Our hospital offers a broad range of services, including wellness examinations, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, and more. What You'll Do Our Certified Veterinary Technicians are trusted to work to the full extent of their training and play an essential role in providing outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Implementing treatment plans prescribed by our veterinarians Calculating and administering medications Placing IV catheters and performing venipuncture Taking and positioning diagnostic radiographs Monitoring and performing anesthesia Providing attentive, high-quality care to critical and hospitalized patients Collaborating with doctors and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and confident working both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their technical skills, enjoys learning, and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program Current Licensed/Certified Veterinary Technician credentials Previous anesthesia experience preferred If you enjoy a challenge, take pride in your technical skills, and want to work in a practice where veterinary technicians are genuinely valued and empowered, we would love to meet you!
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
