The ACO will gain certifications within the scope of this job, which will increase the salary of the ACO upon completion. All ACO uniforms and required equipment will be provided by the city. The ACO will also be covered under the City's insurance allowing for the ACO to have medical, dental and vision insurance, all paid by the city. Insurance is available to family members, with that being an out-of-pocket expense to the ACO. The ACO will also contribute to a retirement plan, administered by the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS). Applicants must be physically able to perform the job of an ACO.
