Job Description

Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide protective custody and care for inmates, while maintaining safety for staff and visitors at the Clearfield County prison. Employees in this classification perform supervisory and protective work. Position is responsible for processing new and released inmates, maintaining inmate accountability, controlling access within the prison, and maintaining order and behavior of inmates. Performs related work as directed. Must have flexibility for scheduling. 12 hour shifts.
