Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Hunting Lead to oversee and coordinate our investigative efforts related to hunting safety, compliance, and security. This role involves leading investigations into violations of hunting regulations, ensuring adherence to legal standards, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, investigative expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of criminal law and procedures related to hunting activities. Duties Lead investigations into suspected violations of hunting laws and regulations by collecting evidence and analyzing data. Conduct surveillance operations to monitor illegal hunting activities or poaching incidents. Prepare detailed investigative reports documenting findings, evidence collection procedures, and case conclusions. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and government entities to facilitate investigations and ensure regulatory compliance. Utilize investigative interviewing techniques to gather information from witnesses or suspects effectively. Maintain thorough records of investigation evidence in accordance with criminal investigation standards. Apply knowledge of criminal procedure and law enforcement protocols to guide investigation processes. Qualifications Proven experience in criminal investigation, law enforcement, or related investigative roles with a focus on hunting or wildlife regulation enforcement. Strong understanding of fraud prevention and detection strategies applicable within the context of hunting regulations. Proficiency in surveillance techniques, evidence analysis, report writing, and investigation evidence collection. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for report preparation and documentation purposes. Knowledge of criminal law, criminal procedure, and investigative interviewing techniques. Experience working with government agencies involved in wildlife or hunting regulation enforcement is highly desirable. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly. Pay:
$16.50 - $19.50 per hour
