Job Overview We are seeking a Hunting Associate to join our team and support our commitment to outdoor excellence. This role involves engaging with customers, managing investigations related to hunting and outdoor activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong investigative skills, knowledge of law enforcement procedures, and a passion for outdoor pursuits. Responsibilities Conduct criminal background research related to hunting permits and outdoor activity compliance Assist in investigations involving civil and criminal matters pertinent to outdoor recreation Manage police records and ensure proper documentation of investigations Collect evidence and manage court exhibits in accordance with procedural law standards Write detailed reports documenting investigation findings and procedural steps Interpret data from various sources to support investigations and regulatory compliance efforts Foster positive relationships with community members, law enforcement agencies, and regulatory bodies Ensure investigations adhere strictly to legal standards and regulatory requirements Support leadership in managing investigations related to illegal hunting or outdoor activity violations Requirements Proven experience in law enforcement, criminal investigation, or military service preferred Strong report writing skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately Knowledge of police records management systems and evidence collection procedures Familiarity with procedural law and investigations regulatory compliance standards Ability to conduct criminal background research effectively Excellent communication skills for community relations and inter-agency collaboration Leadership qualities with the capacity to manage multiple investigations simultaneously Experience in civil investigations or managing court exhibits is advantageous This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our outdoor community while supporting safety and compliance initiatives.
