As a key team member, you will supervise students during after-school activities and meal times, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering positive behavior and social skills. Responsibilities Supervise students during aftercare programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Assist with lunch service, promoting healthy eating habits and proper table manners. Enforce school policies and procedures related to student behavior, safety, and discipline. Support students with special education needs or physical disabilities by implementing behavior management strategies and providing necessary accommodations. Maintain constant awareness of student whereabouts through active supervision, conflict management, and behavior management techniques. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress or concerns while respecting confidentiality protocols. Follow safety regulations during transportation activities or when assisting in emergency evacuation procedures. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education practices, behavior management for students with disabilities, and conflict resolution skills. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in child safety regulations is advantageous. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and students. Familiarity with school policies, evacuation procedures, and transportation safety standards related to early childhood education. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse student needs.
