Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Crossing Guard in Ephrata Pennsylvania for the upcoming school year to ensure the safety of pedestrians, especially children, at designated street crossings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining traffic control and ensuring the safe passage of individuals.

Times:

1-2 hours in the morning; 1-2 hours in the afternoon

Duties:

Safely guide pedestrians and students across designated intersections
Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary to allow pedestrians to cross
Communicate effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and school staff
Report any traffic violations or safety concerns to appropriate authorities
Assist in ensuring compliance with crossing guard procedures and regulations

Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people
Knowledge of basic first aid procedures
Understanding of compliance management related to traffic regulations
