You will operate emergency vehicles, perform advanced patient assessments, and deliver essential care across diverse scenarios, including trauma, medical emergencies, and neonatal resuscitation. Firehouse based, no posting Engine & Ambulance response plan Power stretcher & loading system Free in house CE's and AHA instructors Video laryngoscopes Lifepak 15's Waivered procedures and medications Flexible scheduling 12 & 24 hour shifts ESO charting Duties Respond swiftly to emergency calls involving medical incidents, trauma, fires, and hazardous situations across city streets and urban areas. Provide advanced pre-hospital care including airway management, cardiovascular emergency response, medication administration, venipuncture, and critical care procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing vital signs measurement, physiology knowledge, and trauma care techniques to determine appropriate treatment plans. Operate emergency medical equipment and vehicles safely while navigating city and rural streets efficiently under incident command protocols. Perform patient transport with a focus on safety, comfort, and adherence to protocol outlined techniques; includes pediatric and neonatal emergency care when necessary. Collaborate with other emergency responders and hospital staff. Maintain clear communication throughout the incident. Execute incident command responsibilities during multi-agency emergencies ensuring coordinated response efforts and scene safety. Requirements Valid certification as a CO-Paramedic with current NREMT (or ability to reinstate Nat Reg within 6 months). Two years of reputable pre-hospital (EMS) experience. CO-Drivers license

BLS ACLS PALS

(within 6 months) NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (within 6 months) Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, trauma medicine, and emergency medicine procedures including airway management and injection administration. Experience with patient assessment techniques such as advanced and basic vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, venipuncture, and use of medical equipment operation. Ability to operate emergency vehicles safely while navigating city streets; physical strength for heavy lifting required. Excellent communication skills for incident command coordination and patient interaction; ability to work effectively under pressure in urgent situations. Must possess valid driver's license with a clean driving record; certification in emergency vehicle operation is preferred.
