Day shift (2 weeks on / 1 week off) •Per Diem available for travelers About the Position OnPoint Industrial is seeking an experienced Firefighter to support fire prevention, emergency response, and incident operations at a large industrial/construction project in Oklaunion, Texas. The ideal candidate has hands-on firefighting experience, strong situational awareness, and the ability to respond quickly and safely in challenging field conditions. Key Responsibilities Respond to wildland fires, brush fires, and other fire-related emergencies Perform fire suppression and containment activities Conduct fire prevention and hazard assessments Assist with establishing and maintaining fire lines and control zones Operate and maintain firefighting tools, equipment, and vehicles Monitor conditions and identify potential fire hazards Support emergency response and incident management activities Communicate effectively with site leadership, emergency personnel, and other response teams Follow all applicable safety procedures, emergency protocols, and site requirements Maintain readiness of firefighting equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) Required Qualifications Firefighting experience required Ability to work outdoors in physically demanding conditions Ability to work effectively as part of an emergency response team Strong communication, judgment, and situational awareness Ability to respond quickly to changing conditions and emergency situations Preferred Qualifications S-130: Firefighter Training certification or S-190: Introduction to Wildland Fire Behavior certification required/preferred Experience supporting industrial, construction, energy, or large-scale project sites Additional NWCG wildland fire training or certifications Experience with fire prevention, fire suppression, or emergency response operations
