Job Description
Job Summary Smog Test Only Center in Thousand Oaks is looking for a licensed California Smog Inspector to join our busy STAR-certified Test-Only station. This is a smog inspection position only — no repairs or mechanical work. We are looking for someone reliable, experienced, and comfortable performing smog inspections in a busy shop environment. Applicants must currently hold a valid California Smog Inspector License and be eligible to perform inspections at a STAR station. Responsibilities Perform California smog inspections accurately and efficiently Complete visual and functional inspections according to BAR requirements Follow all BAR and STAR procedures Maintain accurate inspection records Provide friendly, professional customer service Keep the inspection area clean and organized Requirements Current California Smog Inspector License Must meet STAR eligibility requirements Previous smog inspection experience preferred Reliable and punctual Able to work independently Comfortable working in a high-volume Test-Only station
Pay:
$24
•35/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
