Are you detail and task oriented? Are you excellent at follow-up? Newman Injury Law, a fast-growing Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Bilingual (Eng/Span) Intake Assistant to quickly get our new clients on the path to obtaining justice. Why This Role Matters Our Intake Assistants help build the case from the moment we first speak to the client. Documenting detailed information and obtaining all pertinent records is the foundation of the excellent representation we provide to our clients. Acting quickly to preserve evidence and obtain vital information sets the stage for success for our clients. Key Responsibilities Prepare and send Letters of Representation Opening cases in firm's case management system Following up with clients on required information Opening claims with insurance carriers Obtaining policy limits Requesting reports, videos, other incident information Backup for taking intake calls with potential clients Qualifications Prior experience in a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm as legal assistant, intake specialist, or file opener Bilingual (Eng/Span) Exceptional phone presence—professional, confident, and articulate Ability to meet strict deadlines Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Self-directed and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable using case management systems

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
