Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Transit in Denver, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to riders, visitors, and staff. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transit location. Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicle staging areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe transit operations, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or transit representatives as needed. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with passengers, coworkers, law enforcement, and transit personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Handcuffing certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
