Police Officer Minimum Requirements:
U.S. citizenship or be legally authorized to work in the United State
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid driver's license
At least 21 years of age as of application due date, and under 35 years of age at the time the eligibility list is posted, unless exempt by statute
No felony convictions
Proof of passing the Illinois POWER test within the past year at the time of your potential interview. POWER Test cards are accepted from the following locations or any other licensed agency: Joliet Junior College - Joliet, IL or NIPSTA - Glenview, IL
