Shift Primarily 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. This position will be expected to work outside these hours, if necessary, to accomplish tasks and objectives. Job Summary University of Kentucky Police Majors are responsible for providing the University community with a safe and secure environment in which to work, live and learn. The department is service oriented and specializes in meeting the needs of the campus' population of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The major job responsibilities of the HealthCare Operations Major include supervision and management of the UK Police HealthCare police and security division, strategic planning and training, and research and education. Police Majors positively interact, enhance relations, and represent the University with local law enforcement and community partners.
