Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly professional, client-focused Standby Security Officer to provide on-call protective support for a private client in the Ithaca, NY area. This role requires a calm, dependable presence and the discretion to represent our firm at the highest standard when called upon. The ideal candidate takes genuine pride in the position they hold and the company they represent, and — above all — is committed to serving our clients with the highest level of care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough threat assessments and develop tailored security plans for clients Provide close protection services, including escorting clients during travel and public appearances Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, security breaches, or conflicts Write detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security assessments to document daily activities and incidents Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure compliance with security regulations Compensation & Schedule Standby pay: $300/day if not activated If activated: $300/day plus $45/hour, from start time until finish

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 11:00 AM-11:00

PM Schedule:

Friday-Sunday, 12:00 PM-12:00 AM The first hour of each shift must include a check-in meeting with the client to confirm whether anything is needed that day August 23rd-December 16 (May be subject to change) Requirements Law Enforcement Background Required Must reside within the immediate Ithaca, NY area (15 minutes or less from the work site) Reliable and available for the full standby window as scheduled Strong communication and observation skills Professional, discreet demeanor suited to a private client environment Join us in delivering top-tier protection services that prioritize safety without compromising professionalism.
