POLICE OFFICER
Part-time 30 hours week Job Requirements Minimum age 21 Minimum High School Diploma/G.E.D. Equivalent Must be
O.P.O.T. A.
certified Must be able to pass background screenings and drug test Must have excellent oral and verbal communication skills
NEW POLICE ACADEMY GRADS WELCOME.
Job Responsibilities Serves as liaison within the community responding to criminal and non- criminal public and safety concerns. Assist with patrolling the city, conduct business checks and monitor activities within the city. Respond appropriately to notification of accidents and completes the required documentation assuring accuracy and timeliness. Determine when traffic stops for motor vehicle code violations are necessary and take appropriate action. Receives assignments and responds as requested assuring professionalism.
