Position Summary:

The Sinton Police Department is seeking dedicated, community-minded individuals to join our team as full-time Police Officers. We are looking for professionals committed to maintaining public safety and building strong relationships within our community.

Essential Functions:

Enforcing state laws, municipal codes, and city ordinances. Conducting proactive community patrols and engaging with residents. Participating in criminal investigations and accident reconstruction. Problem-solving and responding to calls for service with professionalism.

Requirements:

Licensing:

Must possess a valid Texas Peace Officer License (TCOLE) and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Screening:

Candidates must pass a comprehensive background investigation, oral interview, physical exam, psychological evaluation, and drug screening.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a healthy sense of humor.

Availability:

Must be able to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.
