Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join one of our client firms. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience who is looking to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced practice. The role offers hands-on litigation experience, direct client interaction, and the ability to manage cases through all stages of litigation. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution
  • Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings
  • Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal arguments
  • Take and defend depositions, including party and witness depositions
  • Appear in court for hearings, status conferences, and other proceedings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Assist with mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing records
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable client outcomes Qualifications
  • 2-6 years of civil litigation experience preferred
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active admission and good standing with the state bar
  • Experience handling discovery, motion practice, and depositions
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Trial preparation experience is a plus.
