Our practice operates out of both New Jersey and New York. Strong knowledge of both states when it comes to NF and WC is a must. Candidate must be proficient with computers and be able to learn our proprietary EMR/billing scheduling platform. Work email and accounts efficiently and effectively. Attention to detail and follow through a must. Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written. Must have a strong background and understanding of PIP/ WC guidelines to ensure accuracy. Calling insurance carriers to obtain claim numbers, adjuster information. Calling attorney offices to obtain any additional insurance information as needed in order to verify their clients coverage and limits before procedures are scheduled and as necessary to complete billing process. Uploading all information into EMR / Billing platform Participate in ongoing communication and documentation with team regularly regarding authorizations, policy limits, policy exhaustions, LOP's etc.

Qualifications:

Insurance verification experience with PIP / WC/ Commercial plans (pain management/orthopedic/spine a plus) Detail oriented with the ability to analyze information Excellent critical thinking skills Excellent communications skills, written and verbal Worker's Comp and PIP experience a plus
