Job Description
Case Evaluation & Client
Consultation:
Meet with potential clients to assess their cases.
Provide legal advice and outline possible courses of action.
Legal Research & Case
Preparation:
Investigate accident reports, medical records, and witness statements.
Gather and analyze evidence to build a strong case.
Consult with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other professionals.
Negotiation &
Settlement:
Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
Seek to maximize settlement amounts before proceeding to trial.
Litigation & Court
Representation:
Draft legal documents (complaints, motions, & discovery requests).
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and depositions.
Present arguments, question witnesses, and advocate on behalf of clients.
Client Communication & Case
Management:
Keep clients informed about case progress and legal strategies.
Manage multiple cases simultaneously while deadlines are met.
Qualifications:
Education &
Licensing:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the relevant state of New York
Experience in personal injury law preferred. (Plaintiff side only)
