We are seeking experienced and dependable Loss Prevention Associates to join our team at a Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have previous Loss Prevention experience, strong observation skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to handle security-related situations professionally and effectively. Available Shifts 1st Shift 2nd Shift 3rd Shift Shift availability and schedule will be discussed during the interview. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct surveillance to detect and prevent theft. Conduct routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protect company assets. Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, when applicable. Enforce company standards related to security and safety procedures. Participate in training new-hire associates on Loss Prevention policies and procedures. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits. Conduct safety inspections and communicate identified hazards to the appropriate key holder or manager on duty. Maintain physical security by controlling access for associates and visitors. Maintain accurate visitor control logs. Participate in Distribution Center Loss Prevention and safety programs. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Required Skills and Abilities Previous Loss Prevention experience is required . Ability to handle difficult situations professionally and with diplomacy. Strong observation and situational awareness skills. Ability to maintain fair and consistent standards while exercising sound judgment and discretion. Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform the job. Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and effectively observe and respond to activity throughout the facility. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant Loss Prevention certifications and/or experience preferred. Previous Loss Prevention experience required. Physical Requirements The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods. Must be able to walk, traverse, and access all areas of a warehouse/distribution center environment. Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
