We are a small, established law firm in Shelton, Connecticut, seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional who is comfortable managing cases from start to finish and working in a fast-paced legal environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing workers' compensation files from intake through resolution Drafting and filing legal documents with the Workers' Compensation Commission Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and medical providers Scheduling hearings, depositions, and medical appointments Assisting attorneys with trial and hearing preparation Ensuring files are accurate, organized, and up to date
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in workers' compensation law (required) Strong knowledge of workers' compensation procedures and deadlines Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred (but not required): Bilingual in
