This vital role involves managing a caseload, supporting the attorney with litigation, trial preparation, and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, the ability to handle confidential information with integrity and excellent interpersonal skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal support experience within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the attorney and clients in the area of family law. Manage case files using document management systems , ensuring accurate and timely filing, data entry, and document review. Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, including agreements, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity. Coordinate client meetings and communication to gather case information efficiently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Support project management initiatives by tracking case progress, deadlines, and procedural law requirements to ensure timely completion of tasks. Assist in preparing for hearings or trials by organizing exhibits, reviewing documents, and supporting litigation activities. Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, handling client inquiries, and maintaining organized case documentation. Skills Exceptional work ethic. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word processing, Excel). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently. Legal writing skills with attention to detail for drafting documents that are clear, accurate, and professional. Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interviewing clients or responding to inquiries. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating high ethical standards. Experience in document review and proofreading. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 40.0 per week
