Full-time About Nodine Legal Nodine Legal handles Business Law, Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate, Real Estate and other legal matters. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, organized Receptionist / Legal Assistant to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage front-office tasks, and support our attorneys with legal and administrative duties. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and visitors in person and via phone Answer, screen, and route calls; take messages; respond to general inquiries Schedule and confirm appointments, client meetings, and hearings Maintain and organize physical and electronic client files Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and letters Assist with filing legal documents (e-filing and in person) in courts Handle incoming/outgoing mail, deliveries, and general office correspondence Process payments, record billing entries, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks Order and manage office supplies and ensure reception area is presentable Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff, as needed Handle confidential information with discretion Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or legal office environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Willingness and ability to learn legal software and court e-filing systems Professional demeanor and client-facing presence Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kansas court e-filing or local/state court systems Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures in estate planning, probate, business law, real estate Notary Public or willingness to become one Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays 401(k) Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
