Job Description

A respected and growing estate planning practice is seeking an experienced Senior Estate Planning Paralegal to play a key role in supporting sophisticated estate planning matters. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients while serving as a technical resource for drafting processes and document automation systems.

The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in estate planning document preparation, comfortable working independently, and proficient with WealthCounsel. This individual will also help guide less experienced team members and contribute to efficient workflow management within a collaborative environment.

ResponsibilitiesDraft and prepare a wide range of estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, and related materials.

Coordinate the preparation and review of estate planning documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with attorney recommendations.

Serve as a primary resource for WealthCounsel drafting software, including troubleshooting issues, developing customized drafting solutions, and helping maintain internal templates.

Assist with workflow management and provide guidance to contract and junior paralegals throughout the drafting process.

Communicate directly with clients to collect information, answer questions, request documentation, and provide status updates.

Obtain and review property records and related documentation.

Prepare, file, and record deeds and other real estate transfer documents, while coordinating with county recording offices as needed.

Help maintain efficient case progression from initial drafting through document completion and execution.
